Job Title: Behaviour Mentor - Specialist Support

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to provide specialist support to pupils in a Mainstream Primary School in Thurrock. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to promote effective behaviour management strategies and develop a 1:1 mentoring relationship with identified students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and use strategies to manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Draw up agreed action plans with students outlining the aims of the mentoring
  • Work alongside teachers and support staff to promote the effective use of behaviour management strategies
  • Support with the liaison with parents regarding behaviour incidents
  • Support with the supervision of students not in lessons

Requirements:

  • Experience in behaviour support and mentoring
  • Ability to work effectively with teachers and support staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
