Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Children's Intensive Support Team (IST) at Team Support Healthcare. As a specialist in children's mental health, you will provide expert psychological input to autistic children and adolescents, working within the Transforming Care Programme to prevent mental health hospital admissions. This community-based role requires access to a car or reliable travel options, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our young clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for children at risk of hospital admission.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to offer tailored, family-centered care.
- Provide psychoeducation and consultation to support families and carers in understanding and managing their child's mental health needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, contributing to care planning and ensuring seamless communication with the team.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with autism.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a community setting.
- Availability for on-site work and hybrid options, with reliable access to travel.
