Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Uniserve Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the efficient and effective operations of our Felixstowe warehouse.
  • Manage all aspects of the warehouse, from inventory control and process improvement to team development and client relations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain effective warehouse processes and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy.
  • Onboard new clients, ensuring their specific requirements are met and documented.
  • Develop and implement performance management and benchmarking tools to measure and improve warehouse performance.
  • Collect, analyse, and report on warehouse data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years management experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in warehouse management, preferably in a multi-client, multi-temperature environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software.
