Embedded Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team at Matchtech.

This role will involve overseeing the design and development of PCB projects, managing third-party contractors, and ensuring robust hardware design and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and review PCB designs provided by third-party contractors to ensure they meet our project requirements and standards.
  • Identify and resolve hardware issues and faults in prototypes and production units.
  • Contribute to the design and development of hardware solutions for embedded systems.
  • Develop and maintain embedded software in C for various hardware platforms.
  • Design and refine prototypes to meet specified performance and functionality requirements.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are optimized for production and address any manufacturing-related concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in PCB design, embedded systems development, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools and techniques.
  • Strong programming skills in C for embedded systems.
  • Experience with hardware design and fault diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to electronics.
Work Schedule:

In-Office: 3 days per week in Hethel.

Remote: 2 days per week from home
