Ubuntu Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Ubuntu Integration Specialist to join our team. As an Ubuntu Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the best Ubuntu integration for the latest IoT desktop and server-class hardware platforms and software stacks. This includes working with partners to deliver an optimized, first-class Ubuntu experience on their platforms. You will take a holistic approach to the Ubuntu experience on partner platforms with inputs on technical plans, testing strategy, quality metrics. You will participate as a technical lead on customer engagements involving complete system architectures from cloud to edge.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, Yocto), open source communities, and licenses. They should also be proficient in Python, C, and C++. Additionally, they should have good communication skills, ideally public speaking experience, and be able to work in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation. The base pay for this role is $125,000 per annum, depending on various factors including geographical location, level of experience, knowledge, and skills. In addition to the benefits above, certain roles are also eligible for additional benefits and rewards including annual bonuses and sales incentives based on revenue or utilisation.
