Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

This exciting opportunity is for a Full-Time Support Worker to join our team at Ivetsey Bank Hospital. As a member of our dedicated team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 12-18 with diagnosed mental health conditions.

Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of service users by protecting their human rights and providing a safe environment
  • Building strong relationships with patients through open and two-way communication
  • Supporting patients in their rehabilitation programs
  • Establishing effective methods of communication to reduce barriers
  • Assisting with mealtimes and personal care when necessary
  • Communicating any issues to the clinical team and accurately reporting work activities
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Enhanced DBS check
  • A flexible and professional approach to multi-site working
  • Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping
  • The ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Self-confidence and the ability to manage challenging situations
