About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Optometrist to join our team at Asda Stores Ltd. As a key member of our Optical department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our business.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional eye care services to our customers, including routine eye exams and screenings.
  • Work closely with our Optical Manager to develop and implement new patient services and improve operational efficiency.
  • Coach and train our team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of our department's culture and values, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in eye care and vision science, applying your knowledge to improve patient outcomes and enhance our services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Optometry or a related field.
  • Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC).
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or healthcare setting.
