Job Overview

  • A fast-growing business in the Manchester area is looking to increase its R&D capability due to successfully winning new projects.

Chroma Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Design Engineer to design bespoke boards from concept/specification. This role reports to the CTO on a day-to-day basis, working as part of a multi-disciplined team consisting of hardware, mechanical, software, test, and validation engineers.

The successful candidate will be involved in the full lifecycle of the project, including specification, design, test, validation, and delivery for manufacture. They will work with external and internal partners to deliver highly complex solutions.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design bespoke electronics hardware
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex solutions
  • Work closely with the CTO to achieve project goals
  • Develop and implement efficient design processes

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering
  • Analogue and Digital design experience
  • Schematic Capture skills
  • PCB Design & Layout expertise (all packages considered)
  • RF Design knowledge
  • FPGA/ASIC design experience (desirable)
  • EMC/EMI standards understanding
