Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Porter Supervisor to join our team at CH&CO Catering Group Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supervising all units on site, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and supporting the Chef in food preparation and cooking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Support the Chef in food preparation and cooking, including receiving deliveries and organizing them in the kitchen.
  • Wash and clean dirty dishes, pots, and pans, and load them into the dishwasher.
  • Remove kitchen waste from waste containers and dispose of them properly.
  • Maintain cooking equipment, including cookers, pots, and food mixers.
  • Support the Chef in basic food preparation, including cutting ingredients, peeling, and washing food items.
  • Provide assistance to Prep Cooks and other kitchen staff as needed.
