Behaviour Support Specialist Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team in Leigh. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive learning environment for students with behavioral challenges.

This is a full-time Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant role in a primary setting, with an immediate start and potential for a January option. The role is temporary, with strong prospects for permanence based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students requiring behavioral interventions
  • Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to succeed

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
