Job Overview

As a Care and Support Professional, you will work in a residential setting, supporting adult males with diverse needs. Your day will be filled with a range of activities, including:

  • Facilitating engagement in daily living activities, encouraging community participation, and developing meaningful relationships.
  • Supporting individuals with social activities, family connections, and financial management.
  • Providing personal care, promoting independence, and ensuring a clean and safe living environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Care and Support Professional, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans, ensuring the needs of each person are met.
  • Providing support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Encouraging social participation, community engagement, and family connections.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reporting any changes or concerns, and contributing to care team meetings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in social care, although not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and colleagues.
  • Physical and mental stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage challenging situations.
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and adapt to the needs of each individual and the team.
