Job Opportunity

SGS Care Ltd is seeking a skilled and compassionate Youth Mentor to work with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties in one of our 9 regional homes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational, social, and emotional needs of our service users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to promoting education, independence, and well-being, with a focus on creating a supportive and nurturing environment for children in care. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable young people.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with service users
  • Encouraging education and independence skills

Salary and Benefits:
£31,400 per annum (inclusive of sleep-in allowance) + loyalty bonuses, health cash plans, free meals during shifts

Qualifications and Experience:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- L3 or equivalent in Children & Young People Family Practitioner / Level 3 in Residential Childcare
- Experience in Years: Ideally experience in supporting children, but a passion for working with children is essential
