About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at MCS Group. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will be responsible for providing cost and contract management services to support construction project planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tender documentation, cost/value management, contract management, and performance measurement
  • Support Translink's Project Delivery function in developing and maintaining a best practice assurance framework for cost and contract management
  • Work closely with Project Managers and external Cost Managers/Quantity Surveyors and Contractors
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Degree in Quantity Surveying or other relevant Construction-related subject
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a construction contract environment
  • Experience with NEC 3 or 4 contracts
  • Experience in measurement and valuation of construction works
  • Experience of project management processes in relation to duties of the role
  • Experience of using MS Office, including Word and Excel
Desirable Criteria
  • Possess Professional Chartership or be willing to obtain within a defined period
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a construction contract environment
  • Experience in preparing tender/contract documents
