Clinical Governance Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Governance Lead to join our team at Appoint Group. As a Clinical Governance Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing a robust framework that ensures the highest standards of clinical quality, safety, and governance are met across our healthcare provider.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a clinical governance framework to ensure quality and safety.
  • Oversee the hospital's Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) program, supporting the IPC Lead Nurse.
  • Manage and support the Governance team, ensuring compliance with regulatory and best practice standards.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, responding to incidents and feedback to enhance patient care.
  • Develop and review clinical policies, procedures, and ensure the hospital adheres to all legal and ethical requirements.
Requirements:
  • A degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Experience in driving quality improvements and embedding lessons learned from incidents.
