About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Unreal Engine developer to join our team at Rocket Science Corporation. As a key contributor to our upcoming video games, you will work on challenging projects to bring a range of features to life within Unreal Engine.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement, maintain, and collaborate on new features, systems, and workflows within Unreal Engine.
  2. Use critical thinking skills to address bugs efficiently and safely as projects finalize.
  3. Bring creative ideas and solutions to life with collaborative software engineering processes.
  4. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and set an example of quality code implementation that adheres to coding standards.
Requirements
  1. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in C++ and significant experience with Unreal Engine, including a deep understanding of game architecture, optimization, and 3D math.
  2. Engineering excellence, with a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with a focus on quality and best practices.
  3. Feature ownership, with experience as the primary owner of a feature or system within a shipped product.
  4. Team collaboration, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  5. Problem-solving, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
  6. Passion for gaming, with a genuine passion for video games and a desire to contribute to creating engaging and enjoyable experiences for players.
  7. Interest in learning, with eagerness to learn about other technologies and practices to stay current and versatile.
