We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Enfield Council. As a key member of the Construction, Maintenance, and Facilities Management department, you will play a vital role in delivering an ambitious capital programme exceeding £100m over the next five years.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, developing, procuring, and delivering a mix of capital construction projects, ranging from £750k to £10m, across various stakeholders. These business-critical property programmes include corporate, education, and community building developments.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in managing complex construction projects.
  • The ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility in working arrangements, including 2 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
Key Responsibilities

As a Construction Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and developing project briefs and requirements.
  • Procuring and managing contracts with contractors and suppliers.
  • Monitoring project progress and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in construction project management.
  • A strong understanding of building regulations and health and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
