Yard Operative

M4 Recruitment - Reading Division is seeking a skilled Yard Operative to join our team in the Newbury area. As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for:
Loading and Unloading Deliveries: Safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing damage to products.
Goods In Duties: Receiving and processing incoming stock, verifying quantities and quality, and storing goods in a secure and organized manner.
Stock Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, identifying and reporting discrepancies, and implementing measures to prevent stock loss or damage.
Yard and Storage Maintenance: Ensuring the yard and storage areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety regulations and company standards.
Ad Hoc Duties: Performing occasional tasks as required by management, such as assisting with inventory counts, cleaning equipment, or participating in quality control initiatives.
