Job Title: Senior Technical UI Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical UI Designer to join our Metaverse team at Improbable. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative user interfaces for our massively multiplayer live experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with UI Artists, Game Designers, and Engineers to develop intuitive and innovative interfaces that meet the needs of our users.
  • Create interfaces that are easy to modify by UI Artists, UX & Game Designers, and Engineers.
  • Act as a bridge between the UI Art and UI Engineering teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Read and understand all game design documentation to ensure a deep understanding of the intended user experience.
  • Ensure that all game information is clearly, consistently, and relevantly conveyed through the various user interfaces.
  • Develop strong competency in making and structuring User Widgets assets, both in the designer view and via blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with C++ in Unreal Engine is a plus.
  • Experience in implementing UI/UX designs in AAA, indie, or mod games in Unreal Engine is required.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and collaborate with other designers, artists, and engineers to ensure delivery of the best possible User Experience.
  • Interest in UI/UX design trends and user journeys is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma is required.
