We are seeking a highly skilled Water Operations Technician to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our water network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain potable water, foul water, and site AMR networks
  • Conduct meter readings and plan and implement leakage control activities
  • Deputise for the Operations Team Manager and participate in out-of-hours standby arrangements
  • Supervise work activities and analyse network data to identify and respond to leaks and bursts
  • Plan and implement potable water, foul water, and surface water maintenance activities
  • Update site GIS systems and respond to customer enquiries regarding pressure and water quality
Requirements:
  • Qualification or experience in water network and treatment operations
  • Good attention to detail and ability to write detailed reports
  • Good understanding and awareness of regulatory aspects within the water industry
  • Leakage management and water quality sampling experience
