Job Title: Workshop Plant Fitter

First Military Recruitment is seeking a skilled Workshop Plant Fitter to join our client's team. As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of plant equipment to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair/maintain plant equipment, including compressors, mini-excavators, dumpers, and small tools, both on and off site.
  • Check and tag all equipment, updating service records as necessary.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and full range of accessories.
  • Complete test certificates and associated paperwork.
  • Adhere to customer Health & Safety rules when on site.
  • Keep the workshop and vehicle (where provided) organized, clean, and tidy, and assist with general workshop duties as needed.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the Foreman or General Manager.
Requirements:
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Experience in a similar plant fitting role.
  • CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable.
  • Driving license essential.
