About the Role

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled CBT Therapist to join our team in Newcastle, where you will work with individuals and families affected by gambling-related harms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and formulation risk assessments and management for service users
  • Deliver CBT therapy for gambling harms in individual and group formats
  • Provide psychological assessment and reports as required
  • Supervise non-psychologists undertaking psychological interventions, risk assessments, and formulations
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will have a BPS-accredited Doctoral-level training in clinical psychology or Masters-level training in Counselling or Forensic Psychology, including specific models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology. Alternatively, you may hold a postgraduate qualification in cognitive Behavioural Therapy or Cognitive and/or Behavioural Psychotherapy.
