At the International Finance Corporation (IFC), we seek a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Economic Development Consultant. This role is part of our Partnerships unit within the Economics & Private Sector Development Vice-Presidency.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to support IFC operations through fundraising for priority areas and maintaining ongoing relationships with development partners. • Conduct strategic mapping and critical assessment of potential philanthropic partners for IFC in North America and globally, in close collaboration with regional teams.
  • Prepare the groundwork for new funding platforms aligned with relevant global initiatives and approaches for working with non-sovereign partners, supporting IFC's advisory, upstream, and investment operations.

  • Master's degree in business, international development, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Familiarity with sectors and themes relevant to IFC, with a preference for emerging markets experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the philanthropic sector, including priorities and structures, with demonstrated success in engaging and influencing key partners, particularly in fundraising.
