Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Cubic Corporation. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing guidance to employees and managers on HR procedures, policies, and general information. You will also be responsible for guiding managers in effectively managing absence in accordance with the Bradford factor and ensuring GIP claims are processed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR procedures, policies, and general information
* Guide managers in effectively managing absence in accordance with the Bradford factor
* Ensure GIP claims are processed in a timely manner
* Run sickness absence reports in Workday and chase managers to update sickness absence reasons
* Identify sickness absence patterns and advise on further investigation
* Support HR Business Partners with project and transformation activities
* Support the delivery of employee and manager training
* Maintain records and files in accordance with company policy and procedure
* Complete special projects as required

Requirements:

* MS Office competent and experienced
* Intermediate excel skills
* Computer and systems literate
* Experience of working in an HR function and managing UK sickness absence
* Excellent administration and organisation skills
* Current knowledge of employment law and adherence to best practice
* Good secondary level education with grade C or above in Maths and English
* Either a degree in HRM or working towards a CIPD qualification

Desirable:

* Advanced excel skills
* HRIS systems experience
* Report writing skills
* Experience of working across multiple sites
