We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a major construction project in Stockport. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in supervising construction projects and managing teams. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

The role will involve:

  • Supervising the breaking out of slabs and trial holes
  • Carrying out CBR testing as a banksman and 13T excavator operator
  • Reinstating slab areas to a depth of 450mm

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive rate of £320-£340 per day, depending on their experience and qualifications. They will also be required to hold relevant tickets, including SMSTS and First Aid.
