Accounting Manager for Private Equity

We are working with a leading private equity firm that is currently seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager for Private Equity to join their team in London.
Role Overview:
This senior accounting position involves overseeing the entire accounting function, including fund administration, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in private equity fund accounting, possessing a deep understanding of the industry's complexities and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of fund administration, including the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Collaborate closely with the investment team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Maintain relationships with LPs, fund finance providers, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification, preferably with significant experience in private equity fund accounting.
- Extensive knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, as well as tax laws and regulations applicable to private equity funds.
- Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex financial issues.
Salary Estimate:£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
