Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding Commercial team in Byfleet, working on projects in our South East region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire financial cycle of two to three contracts, from preparing anticipated build costs to procuring, paying, and evaluating subcontractors.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders from Construction and Procurement, as well as external contractors and consultants, to agree trading terms and negotiate contracts. Your responsibilities will include subcontractor procurement, monthly valuations and payments, cost forecasting and reporting, and assisting in the preparation of construction budgets for approximately three developments concurrently.
About YouWe are looking for a commercially astute negotiator with experience in measuring drawings, tender analysis, and standard surveying techniques. You will be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with huge self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks. A background in Construction, with previous experience as a Surveyor, preferably in residential development, is essential. Holding an HNC or HND or similar qualification, and being a member of a professional body, RICS or CIOB, is preferred.
