Job Summary:

Quality Start is seeking a highly skilled GMP Production Manufacturing Technician to join our team in a Grade B and Grade C GMP clean room manufacturing environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling raw materials and ingredients for compounding sterile products, manufacturing live-saving products in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and ensuring a high quality of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble raw materials and ingredients for compounding sterile products
  • Manufacture live-saving products in accordance with approved SOP's, manually and using a compounder
  • Assist in the preparation of sterile products, their labelling, packaging and dispatch
  • Replenish stock and rotate stock
  • Perform visual inspection of finished products
  • Ensure a high quality of service to our customers and adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures
  • Perform and record all cleaning for the equipment, areas of work and supplies as and when required as defined in the relevant SOP's and in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice
  • Ensure adequate and appropriate stocks of equipment and supplies
  • Perform pre-compounding, compounding and post-compounding checks

Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths - Grade C or above
  • Ideally pharmaceutical / medical device GMP production / manufacturing / operator experience, in a clean room environment
  • PC literate and numerate

What We Offer:

A 6-month contract role with the potential for extension or permanent placement, competitive PAYE rate of £14.04 per hour, and a chance to work with a reputable company in the pharmaceutical industry.
