Software Development Specialist

At Senitor Associates, we are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team in Kendal. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual to work on a life-critical large-scale system.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing user-facing features, server-side code, and reusable code and libraries for future use. They will also ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and related code, optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, and collaborate with other team members, customers, and stakeholders.
This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £48,000 per annum (DOE), as well as additional benefits such as a 30-50% annual bonus, 10% pension, and private health insurance.
To be considered for this role, applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in software development, with strong skills in .Net development using C#, UI development using WPF, XAML, and MVVM, Entity Framework Core, API design and development, knowledge of database development techniques, OOP best practice and design principles, source control packages like Git or Team Foundation VC, and unit testing.
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD via Azure DevOps, Web Servers (IIS) and Windows Server, and Active Directory are desirable skills for this role.
