Themis Recruit is seeking a qualified Solicitor to join their clients' Doncaster office as a Senior Solicitor - Catastrophic Injury Claims. The successful candidate will have experience in catastrophic injury claims and a desire to help vulnerable clients who have gone through traumatic accidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Initial Consultations: Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess the nature and extent of brain and spinal injuries.
  2. Case Management: Manage a caseload of brain and spinal injury cases ensuring all aspects are handled efficiently.
  3. Investigation: Gather and analyse evidence related to the injury including medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.
  4. Negotiation and Settlement: Engage in negotiations with opposing parties and insurance companies to reach fair settlements.
  5. Litigation: Prepare and file legal documents for court proceedings.
  6. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients providing updates on case progress and addressing any concerns.
  7. Legal Compliance: Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm and external experts to strengthen cases.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor or equivalent
  • NQ 1 PQE
  • Ideally come from a catastrophic injury background
