About the Role:

Cover Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of schools, stepping in for absent teachers and maintaining continuity in the classroom. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pre-assigned lessons, managing classroom behavior, and creating a productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pre-assigned lessons in the absence of regular teachers.
  • Foster positive relationships with students and implement effective behavior management strategies.
  • Be flexible to cover various subjects across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work.

Requirements:

  • Hold a UK recognized degree or have relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Possess a valid enhanced DBS check (preferably issued within the last year or on the update service).
  • Be local to, or willing to travel to, Portsmouth.

What We Offer:

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
