About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Estimator to join our team at GH Engage Limited. As an M&E Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our business, working closely with our pre-Construction Director and Operations Director to deliver high-quality estimates and quotations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and gather materials, equipment, and labour costs for projects
  • Utilize estimating software, such as Trimble or Contract Master, to prepare and submit quotations for work
  • Liaise with clients to gather requirements and gather quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Assess the level of risk for a project and develop strategies to mitigate any potential issues
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer and full site team relationships
  • Analyze company data, exchange rates, and prices using software packages
  • Prepare and submit quotations for work, ensuring that costs are kept in line with forecasts
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience working in a similar position
  • Experience with air source heat pumps is ideal for this position
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with estimating software
  • Degree qualified in either Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working for either an M&E sub-contractor, main Contractor, or consultancy
  • Experience winning projects upwards of £5 million MEP
