**Job Description:

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team at Velocity Recruitment in Stafford. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including buildings, plant, and production equipment.

**Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, respond to breakdowns, and perform repairs to maintain the integrity of our facilities.
  • Planned Maintenance: Develop and implement planned maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, identify potential hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering subcontractors, supervisors, and managers to ensure seamless coordination and effective implementation of maintenance activities.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, update logbooks, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.

**Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

**Estimated Salary Range:** £42,000 - £52,000 per annum.
