About the Role

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the school's administrative and non-teaching functions. This includes managing the pupil's journey from admission to transition, as well as overseeing the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the school's administrative and non-teaching functions, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's services as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the school's business functions, including health and safety, examination processes, staffing, compliance, and administration
  • Advise on and implement day-to-day support to enable the school to operate effectively and efficiently
  • Work closely with the Headteacher and Leadership Team to ensure the school's business functions are operating effectively

About the School

Meadows Care is a DfE registered Independent school that offers an exciting curriculum to pupils aged 11 – 16 years who have previously struggled in education. The school caters for pupils who have experienced a difficult childhood journey and may have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools, or who are at risk of being permanently excluded, especially those pupils who may have social emotional and mental health difficulties, are looked after and/or have experienced previous trauma and attachment difficulties.

Our Approach

Meadows Care is passionate about promoting positive mental health by being run on Nurture principles and embedded with PACE and trauma-informed and mental health-informed practice. Staff provide students with a fresh start every day, creating a supportive and inclusive environment that enables pupils to thrive.

Our Curriculum

Pupils gain their GCSE qualifications through working daily in an outside setting with an exciting well-balanced curriculum that is carried out through effective therapeutic use of outdoor pursuits, working with animals, and on the land.
