Internal Auditor Role
At Mile Asset Management Limited, we're seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to join our Reporting and Treasury team. As an Internal Auditor, you'll report directly to our Chief Financial Officer and take responsibility for conducting audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, ensure compliance with policies, and verify the accuracy of financial and operational records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Planning: Develop and implement annual internal audit plans based on risk assessments for approval by the Audit Committee.
- Financial Audits: Examine and test financial records and transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Operational Audits: Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for management and for presentation at the audit committee.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess business risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies for areas of improvement.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
- Knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, and regulations.
