Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a skilled Procurement Transformation Specialist to join our Contract Services team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to deliver transformational procurement programs that drive sustainable change and improve procurement operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support clients in their procurement transformation initiatives, guiding them towards modernized and efficient procurement systems.
  • Develop and implement sustainable procurement practices, aligning with environmental, social, and governance goals.
  • Design and implement procurement target operating models for the future, optimizing procurement operations and aligning with digital and commercial strategies.
  • Formulate and execute procurement strategies that drive cost savings and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Support the development of our Transformational Procurement proposition suite and build market eminence and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong procurement and supply chain knowledge, from industry or advisory.
  • Solid research, evaluation, and analysis skills.
  • Storyboarding and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong IT and digital skills and a real interest and curiosity in tools, systems, and data.

Qualifications

  • Preferably has a degree related to one of the following: Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business Management, or similar disciplines.
  • Previous experience in procurement transformation and/or sustainable procurement.
  • Has achieved, is working towards, or is willing to work towards at least Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply.

Experience

  • Wider procurement consulting experience gained from either client, contractor, or professional services organization.
  • Experience of key sustainable procurement practices, including human rights, environment, health and safety, anti-bribery & corruption, and labor practices.
  • Strong understanding of wider ESG legislative and regulatory environments is desirable.

Behaviours

  • Confident, independent, and able to work autonomously with limited need for supervision.
  • Be able to manage work/business development/career development activities.
  • Be able to support the development of outline proposals and bidding collateral.
  • Experienced and confident in compiling reports and research documentation.
