About the Role

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions

The ideal candidate will have experience with Selenium, Cucumber BDD, and Java, and will be adept at integrating with ADO pipelines and GIT repositories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Automation Framework: Develop and maintain a robust test automation framework using Cucumber BDD.
  • Automated Testing: Utilize Selenium for automated testing and ensure high-quality test coverage.
  • API Testing: Perform Postman API testing to ensure seamless integration with our systems.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing using Jmeter to identify bottlenecks and optimize our applications.
  • Complex Project Learning: Quickly learn and adapt to complex project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
  • Project Testing Expertise: Bring strong experience in software testing, hardware-software integration testing, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
  • Agile Methodologies: Apply knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum practices, in the testing process.
  • Communication: Exhibit good communication skills and maintain a flexible and positive attitude.
  • QA Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive QA documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and process improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Higher level education in software engineering or computer science, or have equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Requires a minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a QA Automation Engineer role or similar.
  • Skills: Proven capabilities in leading software product testing, ideally for products that integrate software and hardware.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to drive QA success via integrated cross-functional teams involving deep collaboration with technical/software team and design.
  • Travel: Experience the excitement of dynamic project delivery with 20-30% travel opportunities
  • Compliance: With all relevant customer and HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, Environmental systems, and laws.
