We are seeking a highly skilled Metal Fabrication Technician to join our Operations Team at River Ridge Recycling in Portadown, Garvagh, and Mallusk. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in maximizing the throughput of our Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs).

Job Summary:
  • Carry out welding and fabrication tasks to a high standard using Mig & Electrode Welding and gas burning equipment.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and work out measurements accurately.
  • Ensure all reporting of tasks is completed in an efficient manner through our maintenance software.

The successful candidate will have a minimum level 2 NVQ Diploma or equivalent in Welding and Fabrication with a minimum 2 years previous work experience in Welding and Fabrication tasks using MIG & Electrode welding & using gas burning equipment.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include Competitive Hourly Rate, Overtime rate available, Annual Performance bonus available, Cash Health Benefit Scheme, 28 days annual leave, Company pension scheme, and Free onsite parking.

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
