Salary: Circa £460 per day via Umbrella

About the Role:

We require a skilled Senior Project Planner to establish and maintain project structures for smooth execution. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex programme plans across various planning tools, including Microsoft Project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining project structures, establishing project plans with input from Subject Matter Experts, creating visual reports to support stakeholders, and leading planning sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain project structures to ensure smooth execution
  • Establish and control project plans with input from SMEs
  • Create visual reports to communicate project information to stakeholders
  • Lead productive planning sessions with workstreams and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance on planning approaches, tools, and processes
  • Identify future project capacity and capability needs
  • Maintain accuracy and quality of project data and reports

Required Skills:

  1. MSP - Certified Practitioner preferred
  2. Experience with complex programme management and planning tools (Microsoft Project)
  3. Strong technical skills in MS Project
  4. Ability to create detailed project plans and milestones
  5. Confidence to lead and run workshops
  6. Strong understanding of key project planning principles

About You:

You will be working as part of a high-performing team and will be required to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
