The Job Description

R&D Consulting at Veeva combines strategic operations with data and technology expertise. As a Principal within our team, you'll be instrumental in growing our European practice by developing our brand, customer network, and identifying new projects to support clients in overcoming complex business challenges.

  • Leverage your expertise to lead business development opportunities, generating new project prospects, understanding customer needs, and creating compelling proposals to address these challenges.
  • Nurture relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging your network to identify opportunities and develop our business.
  • Assume the lead role in R&D consulting services for one of our top enterprise accounts.
  • Built strong, trusted relationships with customers as the primary point of contact for strategic and tactical inquiries.
  • Support the creation of innovative campaigns, offerings, and thought leadership initiatives that differentiate R&D consulting in the market.
  • Lead multiple project engagement teams, empowering them to plan and manage all aspects of delivery from scope to quality assurance.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in management and R&D consulting.
  • Proven expertise in the Life Sciences, particularly in clinical operations.
  • A comprehensive network of relevant stakeholders within leadership positions in Top 20 Life Sciences companies.
  • Credibility and experience operating at senior levels with key Life Sciences customers.
  • A track record of developing high-value, impactful customer engagements.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing digital transformation and R&D innovation/improvement programs.
  • An in-depth understanding of the entire R&D value chain.
Nice to Have
  • Fluency in multiple European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) in addition to English.
  • Experience with digital technologies, including platforms, channels, analytics tools, apps, emerging tech, etc.
  • A good understanding of Veeva's broader platforms and solutions, and how they can be leveraged and enhanced by R&D consulting services.
  • Experience working with SaaS solutions.
  • Veeva certification on any of our relevant R&D products.
