**Role Overview**
Gousto is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our growing Finance team in our Activate tribe. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the Acquisition and Brand marketing teams to drive high-value sign-ups and long-term brand awareness through effective allocation of spend.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain financial models to optimize media investment cases, incorporating econometrics, media response curves, and channel LTV data.
- Evaluate the profitability of new marketing channel tests and partnerships, and make recommendations on which to pursue longer term.
- Own the financial value of our Refer A Friend programme, working with marketing to test, learn, and prioritize initiatives that will drive the most commercial value.
- Financially model the topline and marketing P&L impact of cross-tribe sign-up driving initiatives.
- Model the financial impact of different acquisition discount strategies to optimize for changing business priorities.
- Support Activate Tech squads to meet their Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) through regular performance tracking, reporting, and financialization of key metrics.
- Liaise with the Activate Finance Analyst and Senior Trading Manager to ensure that all impacts of initiatives are captured in the orders model and marketing cost forecasts.
- Work with Activate business partners to ensure that all risks and opportunities are captured, financialized, and kept up to date.
**Requirements**
- Studying towards a finance qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
- Successful, proven experience in a similar finance, trading, or analytics role.
- Strong Excel and/or G Suite skills, including financial modeling.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, which supports prioritizing work and prioritizing what's right for our customers.
- Excellent communicator, with the ability to succinctly summarize complex financial information for stakeholders of any level/function.
