Support Staff for Education

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Staff member to join our team in a sixth form college in Manchester. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives and contribute to their educational journey.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Psychology and a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning. They will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to students with SEN, autism, SEMH, and Dyslexia.

This is a long-term position starting ASAP (until June 2025) with competitive daily rates between £95-£100 per day. Aspire People offers excellent training, supportive schools, holiday pay, and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with diverse needs, including autism, SEMH, Dyslexia, and SEN.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
