Senior Supervising Social Work Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Supervising Social Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of social workers in supporting foster carers and special guardians to provide life-changing care to vulnerable children.
The role involves providing group supervision and clinical support to foster carers, mentoring and coaching less experienced social workers, and contributing to training programs. You will work closely with colleagues across care and safeguarding teams to ensure placements are stable and permanent.
The salary for this position is £48,618 - £55,710 (full-time equivalent). This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 36 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support a group of foster carers, assessing their needs and providing tailored training and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to assess and maintain placements, striving for stability and permanence for children.
- Mentor and coach less experienced social workers, contribute to training programs, and enhance the support system for special guardians and connected carers.
