The successful candidate will oversee substantial security projects and develop strategies to enhance the organisation's security defences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale security projects.
  • Perform thorough security assessments across systems, networks, and applications.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential threats in security frameworks.
  • Develop and execute strategies to mitigate risks and reinforce security defences.
  • Offer guidance and recommendations on best practices for securing systems and data.
  • Maintain current knowledge of emerging cyber threats, trends, and technologies.
  • Communicate technical information and recommendations effectively.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address findings from penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
  • Assist the GRC team in drafting and updating policies and standards.

Requirements:

  • A background of working across Cyber Security and GRC functions.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing solutions aligned with the likes of ISO27001, NIST, CIS, or Cyber Essentials.
  • The capability to work under the guidance of the Security Manager.
  • Skill in building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
