Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapy Clinical Team Lead to join our dynamic and forward-thinking community-based rehabilitation service. The ideal candidate will have a specialist interest in working within community-based rehabilitation and possess excellent clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to prevent hospital admission, support the discharge process from hospital, and provide assessment and rehabilitation for patients with complex neurological, long-term conditions, and falls. They will also support the management of a complex caseload and colleagues through mentoring, coaching, and teaching sessions.
The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with the Therapy Manager, Physiotherapy Clinical Team Lead, Community & Specialist Nursing Colleagues, Sidmouth community hospital, and the acute hospital. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with other therapists within the wider Integrated Health Team.
