We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Operations team at Huel. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a procurement strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a procurement strategy that takes Huel's ingredient portfolio to the next level
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including NPD and technical teams, to understand material requirements and ensure supplier relationships are managed effectively
- Monitor supplier technical, ethical, and sustainability standards
- Negotiate costs with suppliers
- Work closely with the Materials Planning Team to ensure material availability
- Mentor and coach other members of the procurement team
- Lead procurement projects
Requirements:
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a procurement or senior buying position
- Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is an added bonus
- Flexibility and adaptability, with excellent communication skills
- Ability to coach and develop the team
