We are looking for a highly skilled Digital Premedia Technician to join our team at SGS & Co. As a key member of the production team, you will drive excellence in packaging artwork execution and ensure high-quality graphics files.

You will participate in process improvement efforts, production meetings, and ensure that all artworks are saved in designated file locations on the server with the appropriate document control file naming specifications.

Your responsibilities will include receiving product definitions from sales, project managers, or production managers, manipulating files to match customer specs, and adding appropriate color control marks for graphics process control.

You will output proofs as needed for internal checks and as specified on the order for customer review and approval. Additionally, you will complete Job Quality Control Checks and flag any errors or deviations from standard work procedures to the Production Manager/Supervisor.

This position requires experience in digital prepress, a thorough understanding of Artwork Plus and Plato, and the ability to work with various graphic design and layout software applications commonly used on Mac's and PC's.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to an excellent base salary, you will also enjoy a range of benefits including 25 days annual leave, pension, healthcare scheme, and life assurance.
