Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Engineer/Technician to join our team at Dawsongroup Environmental Municipal Civil in Brighouse.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing and repair of our hire fleet equipment, ensuring they are returned to clients in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault diagnosis, repair and routine maintenance of sweepers and other company equipment
  • Examining sweepers and other company equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT checks, delivering vehicles to designated test stations
  • Assisting the rental operations department with weekly stock checks of all hire fleet assets not on rent
Requirements
  • HGV mechanical experience (ideally)
  • Experience dealing with hydraulic systems

  • A competitive salary of approximately £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
