Electro Mechanic Specialist

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of the leading FMCG Manufacturers. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and grow as a Maintenance Engineer in a dynamic company with experienced colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high outputs in Health and Safety, Quality, and Performance according to plan.
- Respond to breakdowns identified by Engineering or Production Operatives in a timely manner.
- Show a proactive approach to problem-solving and find effective solutions.
- Self-prioritise work schedule when necessary to meet deadlines.
- Identify and order spares to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
- Communicate with Production and Engineers through log books and other methods.
- Liaise with all departments to understand site problems and challenges.
- Observe and follow all safety procedures and good engineering practices.
- Take ownership of engineering tasks and responsibilities.
- Manage and monitor PPM adherence to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends, to meet business requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
Suitable candidates will have:
- A recognised degree in an Electro Mechanical engineering discipline.
- At least five years' experience in industry as a Maintenance Engineer or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
- Flexibility, reliability, and confidence in decision-making.
- Effective communication skills with other departments and colleagues.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bench fitting skills, with experience in machining and/or welding.
- Comfortable with electrical circuits and PLC controlled processes.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food and beverage production.
