About the Role
Mace is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning Manager to join our Consult business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for Mace's value of Safety First and lead the development of safety strategies for projects and programmes.
- Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
- Support the long-term success of Planning performance for specified engines/sectors/hubs, and the overall contribution to the broader company goals.
- Lead the application of specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques, and tools.
- Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients and other project stakeholders.
- Manage a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services and responsible for staff development.
Requirements
- Exposure to working as a Primavera P6 project planner on large-scale complex construction projects, ideally for a tier 1 contractor or a client-side consultancy.
- Construction-related degree (civil/structural engineering, or construction/project management or equivalent).
- Digitally savvy, with the ability to build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
- Experience of working on large projects/programmes.
- Construction or project management background, with a hunger to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
