We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Governance Coordinator to join our Radiology team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide governance advice and support to the Radiology team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Trust policies.
- Develop and maintain effective governance processes and procedures, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Radiology management team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety and quality of care.
- Provide training and support to staff on governance-related matters, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Essential:
- Proven experience in a governance or quality assurance role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of governance principles, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement.
- Desirable:
